Falling leaves are beautiful to look at and fun to play in, but did you know you can make creative characters out of them also? 4th grade has decorated their halls with leaves from our area and made a very creative collage with them.
Our mission is to create a school that utilizes place based education to foster autonomous life-long learning through knowledge of and responsibility for the environment.
Our purpose is to provide an innovative educational model that nurtures inquiry, creativity and inspires the desire to learn. The natural world will be used as a classroom for place-based learning across the curriculum.

Welcome back to school. We hope you had a very nice holiday break.
Tomorrow, pizza will be sold in front of the media center. We will have cheese and pepperoni for two dollars a slice. If you want pizza, bring cash for as much as you would like to eat.
We are having issues during recess. All students need an adult with their class on the playground, that is focused on student activities, or a teacher of that grade…….or you have inside recess. There are too many hazards and poor behaviors to have students outside unattended.
Are you TERRIFIC? It is now January and we will learn all about the second R which stands for Responsibility.
Being responsible is Doing what you are supposed to do • Plan ahead • Be diligent • Persevere
Have a great day Soldier Hollow.
