Our fundraising and grant writing committee serves a dual purpose:
Create a 1, 3, and 5 year technology plan for the school so that we can have a unified view for how technology will be used at the school. The plans should consider the best way to spend available technology grant funds while keeping within the charter of the school.
Implement the safety policies and training that were created over the last school year. The safety committee will also review safety policies as needed or at the direction of the Board.
Coordinate and publicize volunteer opportunities and report volunteer hours to families so they know where they stand.
Identify goals and create a school improvement plan for Board approval.
Work with the art and music teachers to provide project ideas and organize fundraisers and school-wide art contests. The art committee will help plan, set up, and run our annual art show and music performances.
Work with the student green council to support the environmental focus of the school charter and organize social activities to enhance the feeling of community and foster the development of rewarding relationships between parents, teachers, and staff at Soldier Hollow.
